Hello! My name is Elyse Gannon and I am the Literacy Specialist here at Rolling Hills. I am thrilled to be a part of your child's literacy life. My mission is to support and enhance classroom instruction in the areas of reading and writing. I look forward to working with you as a partner in education. Here are a few fun facts about me:I love my family!My husband and I welcomed our daughter to the world in 2021! She is the light of our lives. :)I love to be outside!Summer is my favorite season because I like to go to the beach, take walks in Tyler Park and play tennis.I love sports! I grew up in Pittsburgh watching football every Sunday. I love to wear black and gold and root for my home team the Pittsburgh Steelers! I love reading! It's no surprise that I LOVE to read-anywhere or anytime! Reading at the beach or on the back porch are two of my favorite places to enjoy a great book.I love teaching!This year will be my 15th year at Council Rock. I enjoy nothing more then being a part of a child's growth and learning.Each individual learns differently and it's my job to find what works best. My philosophy is that students should be working to their fullest potential. Learning can be challenging and fun at the same time!
