If your child is in 3rd grade, this is the first year they may start an instrument. Their choices are: violin, viola, and cello.
If your child is in 4th grade, this is the first year they may play a band instrument. The following are instruments they may play in band: flute, oboe, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, and snare drum.
Advanced Orchestra is for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades who have played their instrument for at least a year and wish to continue. I will visit returning students the first week of school with more information on how to continue.
